We recently became foster failures, and our cat is obsessed with food. Being able to portion out the meals throughout the day has helped her not worry about being starving all the time. Fairly easy to set up, but you definitely need to read the directions. She also hasn’t managed to get into the top portion. Fingers crossed she doesn’t figure that out.
The automatic cat feeder was so easy to set. I love how you can set it to feed 4 times a day with different portion sizes. You can also record a message for your cat. My cat loves this thing! It's easy to clean and holds food for at least a week. So happy with this purchase.
I got this feeder a week ago and love it so far. Easy to assemble and set up feeds. Easy to change feeds if needed and it’s nice that there’s a button you can give your cat an extra treat during the day. It’s actually a lot quieter than I expected, and quieter than my last feeder. My cat used to throw the food around but the food stays in the tray.Easy to use, clean, and quiet!
This feeder is well designed -- it is very functional and looks good, too.My cat took some time getting used to it, especially to the bowl itself; however by the third feeding she already recognized the noise of the food dropping and ran for it. The next day I was able to sleep in without a hungry cat yelling at me.Pros:Large opaque tank holds a huge amount of food and makes it easy to see if a refill is necessary. The desiccant bag is a nice touch, I'm hoping it will help keep the food fresh for longer.The big food bowl prevents spilling and it's wide enough for cats to use without annoying their whiskers.Bowl and food tank are easily washable.Not too noisy. Enough to alert the cat, not enough to wake me up. I haven't used the voice recording function.Decent control over the amount dispensed. For the kibble I use, 1 portion was consistently between 7-9g. You can select the number of portions per meal, up to 4 meals a day.Cons:The display is located in an awkward position and has no feedback (like a beep) when pressing the buttons. It makes changing the programming a bit of a pain.While I like the shape of the bowl, I wish it was not plastic. Stainless steel would be great.My cat overeats if free fed, so this feeder makes my life easier and hers healthier.
I am happy with my purchase so far. The size of the feeder fits perfectly under my console. The only thing I am not certain is that the feeding bowel is in plastic which is not preferable. Other than that, I find the feeder easy to set up, nice looking, and my cats always get their food on time!
Love you can record a personalized message! This feeder makes my life a whole lot easier. It took a day to figure out how much our kitties consumed and what times would be best to refill. This work for free feeders like us! Just set the portion to a larger setting more frequently in the day. The bowl allows for easy access. No more having to pick up spilled kibble!!
Overall love the product! Starting off setup was a breeze only took me 10 minutes tops also this product is very versatile when it comes to feeding times and portion size I’ve figured we that 4 portions is about 1/4 of a cup and I’ve set it up to dispense 4 portions 3 times daily for my own furry friend. the lock feature could still be improved for the top of the petlibro, as it can still be taken off with light force but depending on your cat/cats eating style this may not be an issue for example my cat hasn’t attempted to take the lid of or anything like that thus far so fingers crossed it stays that, way overall nice pet feeder.
My cat likes her food a little too much, so I needed something to help me regulate her feeding. The Petlibro is perfect for what I needed! The setup was super simple. I was a little worried about programming the meal times and portion sizes, but it was very straight forward. Now when the food drops, my cat goes running to it!My only cons would be that it is a little difficult to detach the food container from the base and the use of military time. Other than that, I highly recommend this automatic pet feeder!
Pretty simple to program and includes awesome features to set the time and amount. Works great so far. Highly recommend!
I love this its made it easy to feed my cats without them over eating. My cats are disappointed that the feeder won't let them eat till they puke.
