How Do I Set a Feeding Schedule on the Essential Automatic Feeder?

Please follow the steps listed on this page or refer to the tutorial video below:

 

1. Setting the Meal Numbers

After entering the correct time (24H format), press the Set button, and "MEAL" on the LCD display will blink. Press the Up button/Down button to choose how many meals you would like your pet to be automatically dispensed per day, from a frequency range of 1-4. Next, press the Set button to save.

2. Set the Time and Number of Portions for Each Meal.

After the meal number is saved, the LED display will show  Meal: 1. The hour field of the time icon will blink. Press the up/down button to set the hour. Press the set button to confirm. 

Next. the minute field of the time icon will blink. Press the up/down button to set the minute. Press the set button to confirm. 

Set the Portion 

After the time is set, the PORTION will blink. Press the Up/Down button to set the portion from 1-9 based on the desired volume of food to be dispensed (1 portion is 12.5 ml). Then press the set button to save.

If you want to cancel/delete one of the feeding plans, press the Up/Down button to adjust the portion to 0 when you set the portion. Then press the Set button to save. 

After setting the time and portion for Meal 1, please repeat the process above for Meals 2, 3, and 4, if needed.

If you want to clear all the feeding schedules, please reset the feeder. When the feeder is locked, press the Up button and hold for about 10 seconds until the feeder emits two beeps to reset it.
