Luma is designed for use with most clumping cat litters and comes with two specialized filters. The round-holed filter is ideal for small-grain clumping litter, while the slotted filter works best with tofu-based or mixed litters.

Please note that Luma is not suitable for non-clumping varieties, such as pine litter, or for extremely fine-particle litters like those made from grass seed or cassava.

Yes, Luma requires a constant AC power connection and does not include a battery backup. In the event of a power outage, all functions will pause. If a cycle is interrupted, the system will safely halt and, once power returns, automatically reset and return the litter basket to its start position.
