What Should I Do If the Essential Automatic Feeder Releases Too Much Food?

  1. Reset the feeder: Reset the feeder by holding the increase button for 6 seconds when the feeder is in locked mode.

  2. Disconnect and reconnect power: Disconnect the feeder from all power sources, including batteries. Then, turn on the feeder using the original adapter and power cable.

  3. Clean up the feeder: Clean out all grains inside the feeder and rotor, and ensure that there is nothing stuck inside.,
  4. Test the rotor: Add some food up to the height of the rotor. Unlock the feeder, and then press the feed button once to see if the rotor rotates once only.
  5. Scheduled feeding test: If the rotor rotates once only, set up a new current time and 3 meal schedules for the next 3 minutes, 1 portion for each meal to check the results.
  6. Change power: If the issue persists, plug in the feeder using another adapter, power cable, and power outlet. Then, repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 to verify the result. You can add three Alkaline dry-cell batteries to see if there is any difference.
