How to install the fountain

Soak the filter in a clean bowl of water for 5 minutes, then rinse for 30 seconds. -

Insert the foam fiter into the groove of the water pump, and install the silicone pipe onto the pump. -

Add water to the tank, install the water tray, and fasten the snap lids. -

Attach the soaked filter and install the filter lid. -

Connect to mains power supply. -

Place the water tank on the charging base by aligning the protruding hole of the water tank with the tank base.

Q: How often should I refill the water?
A: It depends on your pet family. For households with 2 or more cats, you might need to refill with water every other day.
Q: How often should I change the filters?
A: Please replace the filter every 2 weeks to keep the water fresh.
Q: Am I required to use the filter if I already have pure water that will be used in the water fountain?
A: One of the reasons you need the filter is because it keeps the the water free of debris and other contaminants, like pet fur and saliva.
Q: Why do I need to soak the filter before first use?
A: The filter absorbs more water (and therefore cleans more water) when it's wet and expanded. Soaking the filter removes particulate matter that may have settled in the filter.
Q: Does this turn off automatically?
A: Yes. For safety reasons, the water fountain will shut off automatically when there is insufficient water.
Q: What if water keeps spilling out of the water tray?
A: The filter may not be full soaked. Please soak the filter in a clean bowl (not in the water tank) for 5 minutes before the first use.
Q: What if the water pump stops working?
A: 1) Fill with water between MIN and MAX. The pump will fail if it runs dry. 2) Clean the pump, water tank, and drinking basin. 3) If the above solutions don't work, please contact us at help@petlibro.com.
Q: What if the water output speed slows down?
A: 1) For first time use (or reuse after long-time storage), the water pump needs to first discharge air, and it's normal if the water output speed slows down initially. 2) There may be dirt in the pump. Try cleaning it with soap and warm water. 3) If the above solutions don't work, please contact us at help@petlibro.com.
