How often should I clean the feeder?

It is recommended to clean the feeder regularly to ensure smooth dispensing and accurate weighing.

  1. Perform a complete cleaning at least once a month; clean earlier if you see powder, moisture, blockage, or receive a cleaning reminder.
  2. Unplug external power before cleaning and set the battery switch to OFF.
  3. The stainless-steel bowl and removable bowl holder can be washed according to instructions and dried thoroughly.
  4. The weighing base and any electronic parts must not be rinsed or immersed; wipe only with a slightly damp soft cloth and dry completely.
  5. Remove food and dust from the food tank, rotor, stirring paddle, dispensing chute, low-food sensor window, slide, bowl, and bowl holder.
  6. After reassembling the bowl, run an Empty Bowl Calibration in the App.
