How to Fix a False Food-Jam Alert

Follow these steps if the App reports a food jam even though the chute is clear or the feeder dispenses normally.

Step 1. Turn off the feeder

Unplug the feeder and set the battery switch to OFF before checking the dispensing area.

Step 2. Clean the dispensing area

Remove food dust and small kibble pieces from the dispensing chute and nearby sensor area.

Step 3. Check the kibble and stirring paddle

Use dry kibble between 2 and 18 mm and avoid irregular pieces. Make sure the stirring paddle is installed securely.

Step 4. Run one complete feeding

Restore power and run one manual feeding. Confirm that food dispenses normally and check whether the alert and red indicator clear.
