How to fix a feeder that is not dispensing food?

 

Follow these steps if the feeder runs normally, but no food comes out, the stirring paddle rotates without dispensing kibble, or no food is dispensed during first use.

Step 1. Check the kibble
Make sure the kibble is dry and between 2–18 mm in size.
Step 2. Check the food tank
Reduce the food level to about two-thirds full and remove any food dust or kibble blocking the dispensing chute.
Step 3. Check the silicone hat
Ensure the silicone hat is installed correctly and can rotate freely.
Step 4. Prime the feeder
Run one manual feeding to fill the dispensing mechanism, then perform two additional manual feedings. Allow each feeding cycle to finish before starting the next.

Tips:
Use dry kibble only.
Avoid filling above the MAX line.
Clean the dispensing mechanism regularly.
