How to fix inaccurate bowl weight?

Follow these steps if the bowl weight displayed in the PETLIBRO App appears incorrect or does not match the actual amount of food in the bowl.

Step 1. Check the feeder placement
Place the feeder on a hard, level surface.
Avoid placing it on:
  • Carpet
  • Soft mats
  • Uneven flooring
These surfaces may affect the weight sensor.
Step 2. Check for foreign objects
Remove the stainless-steel bowl and inspect the bowl holder. Clear away any kibble, debris, or foreign objects trapped between the bowl holder and the feeder base.
Step 3. Perform Empty Bowl Calibration
Open the PETLIBRO App and go to:
Device → Settings → Empty Bowl Calibration
Make sure the bowl is empty before starting the calibration.
Step 4. Verify the weight sensor
Remove and replace the stainless-steel bowl three times.
The displayed weight should return to nearly the same value each time, with a variation of no more than 5 g.

Tips
  • Recalibrate the feeder after cleaning or reinstalling the bowl.
  • Avoid moving the feeder after calibration.
  • Keep the power cable from pressing against the feeder base.
