How to fix pet recognition issues?

 

Follow these steps if your pet is not recognized correctly, the wrong pet is identified, or feeding records are assigned to the wrong pet.

Step 1. Check your pet profile
Open the PETLIBRO App and confirm that your pet has been linked to the feeder. If no profile exists, create one before continuing.
Step 2. Review the reference photos
Each pet can have up to 6 reference photos.
For the best recognition accuracy, include:
  • Front view
  • Left and right side views
  • Photos of your pet eating
  • Different lighting conditions
Remove blurry, dark, distant, or partially blocked photos.
Step 3. Update the reference photos
If your pet has changed significantly in appearance or recognition has become less accurate, replace one or more reference photos with newer images. Here is a tutorial video: How to Add or Replace the Reference Photos
Step 4. Continue observing
After updating the reference photos, monitor several feeding sessions to allow the AI model to recognize your pet more consistently.

Tips
  • Upload all six reference photos whenever possible.
  • Include at least one photo showing your pet eating naturally.
  • Avoid uploading photos containing multiple pets.
