How to Resolve Food Dispensing Failures with the Air Smart Feeder?

If your Air Smart Feeder (AF108) is not dispensing food, follow the troubleshooting steps and tutorial video below to resolve the issue:

 

1. Change the Power Cord and Adapter
Use a different power cord and adapter (5V 1A) and check if the issue persists.

 

2. Check Kibble Size
Confirm that the kibble size is between 2-15mm. Please send a picture of the kibble to ensure compatibility.

 

3. Manually Feed to Test the Rotor
Empty the food tank and remove it. Then manually feed 3/24 cups and wait for about 30 seconds to check if the rotor is working.

 

4. Test Food Dispensing
Add some food to the food tank and reinstall it. Then manually feed 5/24 cups and wait for about 30 seconds to check if the food is dispensed properly.

 

5. Check for Rotor Stuck Notifications
Ensure there are no rotor-stuck notifications in the app. 

 

6. Check the Indicator Light
Confirm if the indicator light is solid red, which may signal an issue with the feeder.

 

7. Check for Firmware Updates
Make sure the firmware is updated to the latest version.
