How to Fix Missing Low Food Alerts on the Air Smart Feeder?

If you are not receiving a low food notification when the food tank is empty, follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

 

1. Ensure the Lid is Properly Seated
Confirm that the lid is correctly placed on the food tank. A misaligned or improperly installed lid could prevent the device from functioning correctly and trigger the notification.

 

2. Check Tank Base Installation

Verify that the tank base is properly installed. If the silicone brush is obstructing the sensor light, it could prevent the low food notification. You can refer to this installation video for guidance on how to install the rotor.

 

3. Clean the Low Food Detection Light
Dust or debris could interfere with the sensor’s accuracy. Clean the low food detection light and the underside of the food tank to ensure the sensor is working properly. You can refer to this installation video for guidance on how to clean the sensor (feeder).

 

4. Check Notification Settings
Ensure that notification permissions are enabled on your phone. Also, check within the app to confirm that both device and app notifications are turned on.
