Why does the bowl weight fluctuate?

Small changes in the displayed weight may occur when your pet touches the feeder, licks the bowl, or when the feeder is placed on an unstable surface. Large or continuous fluctuations, however, may indicate environmental interference or a weighing issue.

Step 1. Remove external interference. Place the feeder on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Make sure it is not touching a wall, cabinet, power cable, or another object. Do not place anything underneath the feeder.
Step 2. Check the bowl holder. Remove the stainless-steel bowl and inspect the gaps between the plastic bowl holder and feeder base. Clear away any trapped kibble or foreign objects that could interfere with weight detection.
Step 3. Perform Empty Bowl Calibration. With the stainless-steel bowl removed, select Empty Bowl Calibration in the app. Keep the feeder completely still until calibration is completed.
