Q: What type of dog is this product suitable for?
A: The fountain is designed for dogs with a shoulder height of 27cm (=10.6 inches) or more. Suitable breeds include French bulldog, Labrador, Golden retriever, German shepherd, Poodles, Bulldog, Beagle, Rottweiler, German Pointers, Corgis, Doberman, Bull Terrier, etc. French Bulldog, Dachshund and other breeds may also use the fountain, but it is necessary to check if their shoulder height is appropriate.
Q: Which type of dog is not recommended to use this product?
A: It is not recommended for Toy and Miniature Dog Breeds, such as Yorkshire terrier, Biewer Terrier, Chihuahua, Havanese, and English Toy Spaniel. This is because this water fountain may be too high for them.
Q: How is this fountain maintained?
A: We recommend cleaning the fountain weekly, alongside changing the filter and cleaning the pump every 2 weeks. If you have a lively, adventure-loving furry friend that brings a lot of dirt into the fountain, it's a good idea to change the water at least once every three days.
Q: Why does water overflow from the edge of the serving tray?
A: The water overflowing is actually a normal occurrence due to the whirlpool water flow. This overflow helps to maintain a stable water flow speed. The water that overflows is channeled down to the filter area in the serving tray base, where it is filtered before flowing into the water tank. Additionally, there is no need for concern about any potential flooding. The serving tray base has an emergency outlet. If there is too much water, it will flow directly from this outlet into the water tank, effectively handling any overflow.
Q: Can cats use this water fountain?
A: Yes, adult cats can also use this fountain. However, the fountain may be too high for some cats, especially kittens.
Q: Why won't my dog use the water fountain?
A: Some dogs are more cautious and need time (around 3 days) to adapt.
Q: Can I place the water fountain outdoors or in the yard?
A: We do not recommend this. Outdoor locations tend to have more dust and foreign objects, which could affect water quality. Sunlight exposure may also accelerate the aging of the plastic components.
Q: How long does it take to fully charge the water pump?
A: It takes around 8 hours to fully charge the pump.
Q: Is the fountain dishwasher safe?
A: No, the Capsule Dog Fountain is not dishwasher safe.

A: The fountain is designed for medium to large sized dogs with shoulder heights of more than 10.7’’. Very small dogs might not find it comfortable for drinking.
