Q: How frequently do I need to replace the fountain filter? A: It's suggested to replace the filter every 2 weeks to keep the water fresh.

Q: Does this turn off automatically? A: Yes. For safety reasons, the Capsule fountain will shut off automatically when there is insufficient water.

Q: Can I keep the fountain plugged in 24/7? A: Yes. Just keep an eye on the water level and refill water when needed.

Q: Am I required to use the filter if I already have pure water that will be used in the water fountain? A: One of the reasons you need the filter is because your pet will be drinking from it, where water is recycled through the filter to keep it free of debris and other contaminants, such as pet fur and saliva.

Q: Does it have to be plugged in all the time or can it run on batteries? A: It needs to be plugged in all the time.

Notes

1. The filter and the foam filter must be replaced every 2 weeks. 2. The pump and fountain should be cleaned every 2 weeks. 3. To extend the life of pump, please add water before starting the machine. 4. Not recommended for kittens under 3 months old or large dogs.
