How to Fix a Abnormal Low-Food Alert

Follow these steps if the food tank is empty or very low, but the App shows no low-food alert and the feeder indicator does not turn solid red.

Step 1. Confirm the food level

Make sure the food level is below the detection area or the food tank is empty.

Step 2. Clean the sensor windows

Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe both low-food sensor windows. Remove food dust, kibble, or other objects blocking the detection area.

Step 3. Keep the food level low

Do not add food yet. Keep the tank low or empty while testing.

Step 4. Run one feeding test

Run one manual feeding and refresh the feeder page in the PETLIBRO App. Check whether the low-food alert appears and the indicator turns solid red.
