How to Fix a Feeder That Will Not Power On

Follow these steps if the feeder has no light or sound when connected to external power.

Safety warning: If you notice smoke, abnormal heat, an unusual odor, discoloration, exposed wires, sparking, or visible damage, unplug the feeder, turn off the battery switch, and stop using it immediately.

Step 1. Test the backup battery

Unplug the adapter, set the battery switch to ON, and check whether the feeder can power on with the battery.

Step 2. Try another wall outlet

Set the battery switch to OFF and connect the feeder to a different wall outlet.

Step 3. Reconnect the original accessories

Connect the original cable to the feeder first, then connect the original 5V/2A adapter to the wall outlet.

Step 4. Wait and check the feeder

Wait about 30 seconds and check for an indicator light or startup sound.
