How to Fix a Firmware Update Failure

Follow these steps if a firmware update fails, stops at a certain percentage, times out, or does not change the displayed version.

Step 1. Keep power and Wi-Fi stable

Connect the feeder to stable external power and Wi-Fi. Do not reset, unplug, or unbind the feeder during the update.

Step 2. Refresh the firmware status

Reopen the PETLIBRO App and refresh the device page to check the actual firmware version.

Step 3. Retry once

Start the update again and keep the App open until the process finishes.

Step 4. Try a phone hotspot

If the update still fails, retry once using a phone hotspot. If both networks fail, stop retrying and submit feedback through the App.
