How to Fix Abnormal Weight Readings

If your feeder displays incorrect weight readings, such as:
  • The bowl is empty but the App does not show 0 g
  • The weight reading keeps fluctuating
  • The same bowl shows different readings each time
  • The displayed weight is negative or obviously incorrect
  • Empty Bowl Calibration fails

Please follow the steps below.

Step 1. Place the feeder on a stable surface

Move the feeder to a hard, flat surface. Make sure the bowl is not touching walls, furniture, or any other objects.

Step 2. Check the weighing area

Remove the stainless-steel bowl and clean the bowl holder and weighing base. Remove any food residue, hair, or other foreign objects.

Step 3. Perform Empty Bowl Calibration

Open the PETLIBRO App and run Empty Bowl Calibration.
For the best results, remove the stainless-steel bowl before starting the calibration, then reinstall it after the calibration is completed successfully.

Step 4. Verify the weight reading

Using the included stainless-steel bowl:
  1. Place the bowl on the feeder.
  2. Lift it once.
  3. Place it back once. Check whether the weight changes shown in the App are consistent or differ by no more than 5 g.
