How to Fix Frequent Wi-Fi Disconnections

Follow these steps if the feeder repeatedly goes offline or loses remote control.

Step 1. Improve the Wi-Fi signal

Move the feeder closer to the router and remove major obstacles between them.

Step 2. Test each Wi-Fi band

If possible, test the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks separately.

Step 3. Restart the feeder completely

Set the battery switch to OFF, unplug the feeder, wait 30 seconds, and reconnect external power.

Step 4. Compare with a phone hotspot

Connect the feeder to a phone hotspot long enough to compare stability. If the hotspot is stable, the home network is likely causing the disconnections.
