Frequent disconnections can result from either network-related issues or other factors that require further analysis. If the fountain is located far from the router or in an area with poor signal strength, it may disconnect frequently.
-
Ensure the water fountain is powered by the original power cord and adapter.
-
Ensure the water fountain and the router are in the same room, and there are no obstacles between the router and the feeder. This is to ensure a stronger or more stable Wi-Fi network. The optimal distance is within 15 feet (does not exceed 0.5m/1.64ft).
-
If you have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands on your home network, we kindly recommend you separate them and assign different names (SSIDs) for them. This helps the feeder distinguish between the two networks and connect to a specific band, preventing interference from the other band.
