Yes. We recommend calibrating the scale each time the feeder is disassembled and reassembled. The scale supports a maximum load of 7.5 kg, helping ensure accurate food tracking and gram-level consumption insights.
The maximum is 6 portions per dispense. One portion is approximately 20 ml or 10 g, which is about 1/12 cup.
No. The Granary 2 Series is designed for dry kibble only.
For best performance, kibble should be between 2 mm and 18 mm in size. Oversized or irregularly shaped pieces, such as cubes larger than 9 mm or crescent-shaped kibble, are not recommended. If you’re unsure whether your pet’s food is compatible, please contact us before ordering.
A full hopper can last approximately 30 days based on a typical 5 kg adult cat eating around 80 g of dry food per day.
Actual duration will vary based on factors such as kibble type, environment, and your pet’s breed, age, health, and eating habits. The Petlibro app tracks hopper levels and alerts you when food is running low.
We recommend replacing the desiccant every 14 days to help maintain food freshness. Two desiccant bags are required at a time.

No. Every Granary 2 Series feeder includes a built-in rechargeable backup battery. No separate battery purchase is required.
The Granary 2 provides up to 24 hours of backup battery life during a power outage. Granary 2 Vision, Granary 2 Vision Duo, and Granary 2 X provide up to 48 hours.
The battery is designed for emergency backup use only and is not intended as a primary power source.
During a power outage, Wi-Fi connectivity, camera functions, pet recognition, and feeding schedules will continue to operate normally.

Yes. If the feeder goes offline, remote control through the app will be unavailable, but feeding schedules will continue to run automatically.
Granary 2 X can also continue performing pet recognition and automatic lid operation directly on the device.
Granary 2 X supports both recognition mode and manual mode.
During the adjustment period, you can manually control the lid to help your pet become familiar with the feeder. For pets that need more time to adapt, you can enable Always Open mode. In this mode, the lid remains open and closes only when a non-designated pet approaches.
No. The dispensing system is fully enclosed, helping prevent food from being released if the feeder is nudged, bumped, or shaken by a curious pet.
The Granary 2 X entrance is approximately 15 cm wide with an interior depth of 17.8 cm.
The opening was carefully designed to balance comfortable access for the designated pet while maintaining effective feeding access control. Based on our testing, pets can comfortably enter and exit the feeding area without becoming stuck.

When food drops below your selected threshold, the feeder automatically dispenses more food while staying within your configured daily limit. This mode is ideal for pets that prefer to graze throughout the day.
