How do I keep the Dockstream Cordless Fountain running continuously?

The Dockstream Cordless Fountain has two different working modes:

1. Continuous Flow Mode: When the fountain is plugged into a power socket, the water stream will continue to flow consistently.

2. Battery-Powered Mode: When you unplug the power cable, water will flow by sensing your pet, not continuously. In this mode, the fountain is equipped with a proximity sensor that detects your pets within a range of 19.7 inches. When your pets approach the fountain, it activates a 42-second water flow. If your pets do not come near the fountain for an extended period, the water will flow for approximately 42 seconds every hour as a way to maintain freshness.
