1. Can this feeder work with a pet microchip or do you have to use the collar tag?

The feeder is NOT compatible with a pet's microchip. It requires the use of the provided collar tag.

2. If the pet wearing the paired collar leaves, and other pets prevent the lid from closing and try to get food, will the lid stop closing halfway and allow the pet to continue eating?

When the pet wearing the matching collar leaves, the bowl lid will close. You can adjust the lid closing speed and time using the Petlibro app. If another pet tries to access the food and prevents the lid from fully closing, the lid will briefly open to prevent injury and then attempt to close again.

If the pet still prevents the lid from closing for the third time, the lid will be in a failed-to-close state. You will receive a notification that the lid failed to close. At this time, you can open the bowl lid on the APP or press the button to open the bowl lid in the unlocked state. The bowl lid will open and then try to close again.

3. How many collars come with the RFID feeder and is a collar needed for each pet?

The RFID feeder comes with one collar. Each feeder can only be linked to one RFID collar to ensure personalized access for each pet. If you have multiple pets and want to use an RFID feeder for each pet, you'll need to purchase multiple RFID feeders and each pet will need to wear their collar tag.

4. Is the new RFID feeder supposed to be one feeder per cat? Or can two share one?

Each feeder can only be linked to one RFID collar. Therefore, two pets cannot share a feeder.

5. Is the RFID feeder triggered by a collar the cat wears?

Yes, the RFID feeder is triggered by the collar worn by the pet. When a pet wearing a matching collar approaches the feeder, the RFID reader authenticates the unique signal emitted by the collar tag's chip. Once recognized, the bowl lid opens automatically. This ensures that only pets with matching collars have access to the food and prevents other pets from accessing the feeder.

7. I would like to know if the RFID tag that comes with the RFID Pet Feeder will be compatible with future products.

Yes, it can work with the RFID water fountain. Our RFID tags have been designed to be compatible with our future products, such as special water fountains.

8. Is there an option to purchase additional Food Bowls?

Yes, we do offer the purchase of additional accessories, including Food Bowls. However, please note that currently, these items can only be shipped within the continental United States. If you have a need for them, kindly reach out to our official support team and provide us with the quantity you require along with your exact physical address. Our support team will respond to your inquiry as swiftly as possible.

9. Is the tag removable from the collar?

Yes, the tag is individually removable from the collars, and you can choose which collars your pet is more comfortable/favored with to hold the tag in place.

10. Is it possible to feed remotely when necessary?

Yes, you can operate the feeder via APP for remote feeding.

11. Is the feeder cleanable with cleaning devices?

No, only the food bowl can be cleaned with cleaning devices.

12. Is the feeder able to be used without being connected to the power supply?

Yes, however, with battery power only, the feeder cannot connect to the internet and will only perform a basic feeding schedule. We still recommend connecting the feeder to a stable power source.

13. Is the feeder suitable for all pets?

The feeder fits most cats and small dogs. Pets that are too tall will have poor or no recognition of the collar tag.

14. Is the feeder suitable for outdoor use?

Not recommended. External light and environment may affect the feeder from working properly.

15. Does the feeder have voice prompts?

Yes. The feeder will play a meal call when the feeding schedule is executed.( It can be customised and adjusted through the app.)
