How to resolve the "Blocked Outlet" or "Foreign Object" issue with the Space Smart Feeder?

 

1. Update the App and Device Firmware
Make sure both the app and the device firmware are updated to the latest versions. This ensures that any software-related issues are minimized and helps the feeder function properly.

2. Clean the Food Outlet and Blockage Sensor
Sometimes, debris or food particles can block the outlet or the blockage sensor. Use a soft cloth to gently clean both the food outlet and the blockage sensor (as below shown). This step is crucial to ensure that the feeder operates smoothly.

3. Test Manual Feeding
Try manually feeding 1/12 cup of food to the feeder to check if it dispenses the food correctly. This test will also help you identify if a notification about the issue appears on your app or device.
